Cheeseman Transport is hiring CDL A dedicated local dry van drivers in Duluth, GA. Drivers will be driving locally relaying a load from Duluth, GA to Greer, SC daily. Driver will have to do some stops in the Greer, SC area delivering or picking up forklifts, batteries, tow motors and their parts. Compensation
Compensation
- Average gross weekly pay: $1,400
- Pay based on miles and stops
- Paid practical miles, paid for all miles loaded or empty
- Stop pay: $15 - $33 per stop
- Securing pay: $1 per 1000 pounds secured
- Hazmat placarded loads pay an additional 4 CPM
- Bonuses:
- Sign-on bonus: $1,500
- Referral bonus: $5,000

- Route: Dedicated route hauling to Greer, SC and back
- Level of Touch: No unloading or loading, must secure freight
- Newer model trucks
- Automatic transmission
- Governed speed: 68 mph
- ELD equipped using Geotab
- Outward facing camera
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have CDL A license
- Must have a minimum of 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Must have hazmat & tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain within 60 days of employment
- No felony in the past 7 years
- No alcohol related offense in the past 5 years
- Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
- Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
- Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 40 miles of Duluth, GA
