About The Team
CoverMyMeds’ Emerging Product Team is looking for a Product Manager to help solve complex problems in the medical benefit space. Of note, our product team is a results-driven group of innovative thinkers focused on elevating our product offerings to key stakeholders in the healthcare industry. Together with our various business units, the work our product team does ultimately helps get more people the medicine they need to live healthier lives.
What You'll Do
As a product manager, your daily to-dos will shift with business needs, but here’s a snapshot of what to expect:
- Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs
- Establishes pricing strategies
- Interfaces with engineering, manufacturing, operations, account management, and sales to develop new products or enhance existing product(s) or product lines(s)
- Build trusting relationships with stakeholders through collaboration, communication, and expectation-management
- Lead cross-functional teams through influence to discover and deliver solutions that drive key outcomes for the organization
- Partner with engineering to routinely break down ideas into slices of valuable and deliverable work
- Prioritize product delivery work to maximize value to the organization and achieve product team key results
- Develops specific marketing plans and activities for specific product(s) or product line(s) to establish, enhance, or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena
- Collaborate closely with product, business development, sales and account teams to understand the business needs driving changes to product functionality
- Maintain a product roadmap, laying out product priorities and milestones to enable realistic forecasting, communication and expectation-management
- Balance user and customer needs, technical considerations, and business viability in order to develop successful products
- Leverage prototyping and experimentation to rapidly learn and inform product investment decisions
Skills You’ll Need
- 2-3+ years’ experience in product management, product development, and product innovation
- Experience developing business cases, financial modeling, market research, marketing plans, and pricing strategies
- Experience in agile software development organizations
- Healthcare technology, Health Plan Payer / Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM), Hub, pharmaceutical, specialty pharmacy or healthcare experience preferred

- Strong ability to create alignment and understanding, help translate between technology, UX, and business oriented perspectives
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment – able to identify what’s important and to act decisively in times of uncertainty
- Outcome oriented with experience de-risking major product efforts

- You routinely use creativity to get around obstacles and leverage deep knowledge to identify which obstacles are not blockers for execution
- Motivated by solving interesting problems, learning new things, and working with smart people
- Proven experience utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to recommend modifications to a product
- A natural collaborator and excellent communicator who seeks out new perspectives and builds trusting relationships with stakeholders
- Proven experience identifying and prioritizing the most important things amongst a myriad of important things
- Proven experience working with development teams to navigate ideation through execution in order to deliver valuable solutions
- Curious and inquisitive, actively works to remove implicit bias
- Comfortable with being handed a problem to solve and leading a team to discover and deliver viable solutions

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at CoverMyMeds. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
