About The Team
CoverMyMeds’ Specialty Program Health team are looking for a Product Owner to help lead and support Specialty Hub programs functioning as a Product Owner. Of note, our Specialty Program Health team is a dedicated group of problem solvers focused on supporting effective patient journeys, operational excellence and retaining our clients. Together with our various business units, the work our Specialty Program Health team does ultimately helps people get the medicine they need to live healthier lives.
What You'll Do

As a Product Owner, your daily to-dos will shift with business needs, but here’s a snapshot of what to expect:
Works with cross-functional teams in the definition and support of product/services functionality leveraging broad application of principles, theories, and concepts
Partners with Product Managers to understand required business and functional features of new initiatives
Communicates the Product Manager’s vision and provides direction, user stories, and requirements to the Agile development team and other stakeholders
Displays a significant level of independent critical thinking in cross-functional process analysis and problem resolution for new and existing products. Uses judgement within defined policies and practices to provide support where needed for related operation incidents.
Understands the business strategy and liaises among users, technology, and the business to identify, evaluate, and develop systems, procedures, requirements, and user stories throughout the product/software lifecycle
Partners closely with Agile team to conduct Agile ceremonies such as standup meetings, backlog refinement sessions, and review/retrospective meetings
Creates a wide range of deliverables throughout the product lifecycle under limited direction (e.g., use cases, user stories, detailed functional specifications, product requirements, process flows, wireframes, and mockups)
Advises Product Manager’s on determining initiative priorities and planning product enhancement release plans
Demonstrates full competence in own area and serves as a Product SME
Responsible to ensure the health of the product backlog
Skills You’ll Need

Bachelor's degree in business or STEM field preferred, or equivalent experience and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
Microsoft Office applications
Documentation and project management platforms (e.g., Confluence, Jira, Visio)
Software Development Lifecycle (e.g., Agile, waterfall, etc.)
Product Development Lifecycle
Preferred Skills
Provide a list of 3-5 competencies or experiences needed for the role
Product Owner certification (SAFe or Scrum)
3 – 5 years of pharmaceutical, or software development industry experience.
Experience in any combination of Healthcare, Hub, Copay, Pharmacy, Software Development, Business Systems Analysis, Operations Management are desired
Demonstrated experience facilitating feature gathering sessions, articulating, root cause analysis and negotiation.
Excellent leadership skills- must be able to influence and lead teams on delivery initiative objectives.
Advanced analytical skills - to assist with problem solving and coming up with resolutions for complex issues while utilizing qualitative and quantitative measures.
Ability to use sound judgement (within broadly defined policies and practices) to make decisions and the courage to redirect efforts when necessary.
Ability to be a subject matter expert (SME) for software products.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) that can be utilized for presentations and communicating with all levels of the organization both internally and externally.
Strategic and tactical decision making while maintaining ability to outline clear next steps and multiple levels of why of decisions.
Ability to work highly independently in ambiguity based on high level direction and principles.
Financial acumen to do cost benefit analysis, evaluate ROI, and intangibles.
Preferred location - Columbus OH, Remote for the right candidate

As part of Total Rewards, we are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at CoverMyMeds. This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position
