The Opportunity
We are looking for a driven professional to join our team and support our clinical education and research efforts. You will serve as a key individual in all aspects of clinical training, education, and field support for Checkpoint’s growing product portfolio. This position provides the opportunity to work directly with many thought leaders in the treatment and prevention of peripheral nerve injuries.
What You’ll be Doing
- Provides technical support to surgeons and sales representatives.
- Assists in the education of customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of Checkpoint’s product portfolio.
- Implements and develops educational materials and programs for training of sales representatives and surgeons.
- Works with Clinical team to develop and expand KOL team, assisting in development of white papers, training videos, podium presentations and journal submissions.
- Develops professional working relationships with sales representatives and hospital contacts.
- Continually evaluate training effectiveness for both sales team and clinician users.
- Assists in identification and support of clinical studies.
- Contribute and assist with clinical and sales teams project activities as assigned, including team participation.
What You Bring
- Excellent organizational skills to coordinate the activities of multiple team members in multiple locations.
- Ability to effectively communicate with and train sales representatives and clinicians. Including evaluating the effectiveness of materials and programs and making appropriate recommendations.
- Essential customer service skills/experience required, with strong focus on ensuring the customer needs are met consistently, quickly, and accurately, without compromising the organizational needs.
- Strong self-starter, who is also an effective team player, with great consensus building skills.
- Comfortable in a start-up environment, but willing to grow into a larger formalized organization.
- Ability to effectively work in a “virtual environment”.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or health care related field, can be offset with relevant experience.

Job Type: Full-time
Travel Requirements: Extensive (over 50%), for activities such as operating room support, industry trade meetings, technical training, Journal Clubs, Resident training, visits to key study sites, etc.
