About the Role:
Abre is seeking a dynamic and strategic Event Growth & Engagement Associate to join our fast-growing company. This hybrid role blends event management, growth & engagement marketing, and business development responsibilities, ensuring that our events not only enhance brand visibility but also drive meaningful sales opportunities. This role will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and customer experience teams to maximize event impact, engage prospects, and support revenue growth.
This role requires seasonal travel during peak times of the year to assist with high-impact events and initiatives.
Event Management
- Lead planning, logistics, and execution of events, including regional and custom conferences.
- Develop and manage event marketing and promotional strategies to drive attendance and engagement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for event deliverables and logistics, ensuring alignment with sales leadership and company executives.
- Identify strategic state partnerships that support event success and organizational goals.
- Manage event budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
Lead Engagement & Growth
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop pre- and post-event messaging strategies.
- Prospect and connect with event attendees before and after events to schedule meetings and drive qualified sales opportunities.
- Follow up with leads generated through events, ensuring a seamless handoff into the sales pipeline.
- Support sales representatives by identifying and coordinating high-value networking opportunities.
- Use Salesforce to track event-driven outreach and measure success across engagement and sales activities.
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in event logistics and strategy, with additional experience in sales development or lead generation preferred.
- Willingness to travel to support events as needed.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and executive teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Aligned with Abre’s company values and a team player.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the EdTech industry or a related field.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, Canva (or similar tools), and Notion.
